Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating shifts Hours per Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30 and 09:30 - 20:00) Experience: 2+ years of experience required License: Must have SC license (SCRQSA) Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT or RCIS (registered or in process) Must-Have: Cath Lab experience, proficient in coronary diagnostic/intervention scrub and monitor Description: This is a rotating position with varied day shifts. Shifts may include 07:00 - 17:30 and 09:30 - 20:00. It is important to stay until procedures are complete. Team members rotate the shifts within a week. Daily caseload may include 4 to 5 labs with 2-3 techs per lab. The average case load is around 20-25 cases per day. On-call requirements include one weekend every seven weeks along with an evening shift each week. Call requirements are subject to change based on staffing needs. The travel candidate must be flexible with scheduling requests. Experience in Coronary Diagnostic and Interventional procedures is essential. Clienttion badge must be provided by the agency and is mandatory. Compliance with all facility procedures and requirements is expected. Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season, running from June through November. All requirements must be fulfilled before the proposed start date.
