Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled HVAC Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional service in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, problem-solving, and a commitment to ensuring optimal system efficiency. As an HVAC Technician, you will ensure safety standards are met, and provide outstanding service to clients.

Duties:

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, and refrigeration systems with precision and efficiency.
• Read schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design documents to accurately install or troubleshoot complex systems.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan.
• Conduct plumbing repairs related to HVAC systems, including pipe fittings and drainage issues.
• Use specialized tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for repairs requiring metal fabrication.
• Operate a driver vehicle safely for on-site service calls or equipment transport.
• Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, and document all repairs performed for accountability and future reference.
• Collaborate with team members on field service projects to ensure timely completion of tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
• Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R systems to uphold building safety and operational standards.
• Support installation projects involving HVAC design specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Bi - Lingual - English / Spanish
• 5+ Years of experience
• Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician or in a similar construction or mechanical maintenance role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair, welding, and refrigeration systems.
• Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing practices, and electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters.
• Ability to read technical manuals and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Valid driver’s license ; experience operating company vehicles. (required)
• Experience with R-454 refrigerant.
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems and HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) certifications is highly desirable.
• Experience working in field service environments across property maintenance or appliance repair is advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team under pressure.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy equipment, welding work, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
